Customer-Supplied Materials
Important: No Warranty on Customer-Supplied Materials
We strongly recommend against customers supplying their own glass, hardware, or other materials for installation. However, if you choose to provide your own materials, the following terms apply:
No Warranty on Customer-Supplied Materials
When customers supply their own materials—including but not limited to:
- Automotive glass (windshields, side windows, rear glass)
- Residential or commercial glass panes
- Hardware (handles, hinges, locks, rollers, weatherstripping)
- Sealants, adhesives, or bonding materials
- Any other materials used in installation or repair
NO warranty of any kind applies—neither our workmanship warranty nor any manufacturer warranty. We cannot warranty materials we did not source, test, or approve for use.
Additional Risks of Customer-Supplied Materials
- Unknown Quality: We cannot verify the quality, authenticity, or condition of materials we did not procure
- Compatibility Issues: Customer-supplied materials may not be compatible with existing frames, systems, or installation requirements
- Improper Handling: Materials may be damaged during transport or storage before reaching us
- No Recourse: Manufacturer warranties typically do not apply when materials are not installed by authorized dealers
- Liability Limitations: We are not responsible for damage, leaks, failures, or other issues arising from customer-supplied materials
- No Re-Work: If customer-supplied materials fail or are defective, you may be charged for removal, disposal, and re-installation with proper materials
Our Recommendation
We source all glass and related materials from trusted, authorized distributors. Our materials come with full manufacturer warranties and are guaranteed to meet industry standards and installation requirements.
